For those who are looking for a retreat vacation in style, the one that makes you forget all passwords at work, think of nothing, do nothing but relaxation, Pranburi would be the destination I’d recommend. The place is about an hour south from Hua Hin which is getting overcrowded, Pranburi is a world-away peace and decent local delicacies that will make you feel immensely fulfilled.

If I think of the resort-style "Pool Villas" that are not far from Bangkok and we can drive comfortably as I'm reaching my last trimester of my pregnancy, it would have to be here, "Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas", one of the resorts that can make me feel like falling into another world of the nature and tranquility.

Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villa is located at Pak Nam Pran Sub-district. Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, it's about 2.30 hours from Bangkok and 22 km South from Hua Hin. On the way there are plenty of interesting places to visit such as many historic cultural sites: The Golden Temple, Phraya Nakorn Cave, Tab Tim Thong Chinese Temple, Three Hundred Hills National Park, Pranburi Old Market Walking Street. The resort is nestled on the lush beaches of the Gulf of Thailand we found ourselves enjoy fresh air and cool breeze from the ocean.

Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas – as the name suggests – encompasses 53 stylish pool villas, located a stone’s throw away from Pranburi’s small yet romantic seaside town. The walls and tropical trees planted around the premise make the resort a secluded hideaway full of natural richness from various tropical trees. Arrived at the entrance, we were ready to fulfill the happiness and relaxation for the weekend. There is a warm welcome staff for valet parking, along with receiving and sending bags to the villas where we stayed.
The wooden pathway took us from the entrance to the lobby from there I had fell in love with the lush vegetation, traveller trees and lotus ponds lined up on two sides where I found big fish swimming around...

The pathway from the lobby to villas is lined up with tall coconut trees on two side, shaping a coconut tree arch where I can stroll and ride bicycles here. This area is also the path leading to the sea on the opposite side of the road and the main restaurant, Luna La Pran.

The lobby is open air with natural wind. Decorated in a simple style with warm tone colors, harmonious with the nature, immediately transformed us into the sense of relaxation in a tranquil ambience.

There are three styles of rooms here, starting at the Duplex Pool Villa, Pool Villa and the highest Pool Villa Suite and all are suitable for most couples, family and friends.

The Duplex Pool Villa is perfect for family with children, group of friends with multiple living space options such as living room, inviting pool, sun loungers, walled garden, outdoor rain shower and sunken bath tub.

Upstairs on the 2nd floor is a large double bedroom decorated with warm wooden tone, high ceiling and outdoor jacuzzi bathtub that exudes a tropical sensation.

The ground floor encompasses a spacious living room zone, mini bar and dining table with a garden view as a backdrop and private pool at the front.

Open the villa door and find a pavilion to cool down by the pool. There is a big sun lounger with comfy cushions, adding decorative details that help creating a relaxing atmosphere in a resort style.
We had the opportunity to stay at the gorgeous Pool Villa. Check out the villa tour with me here:
The villa is decorated in warm colors in interior design, a king-sized Sheraton Sweet SleeperTM bed with extra large, soft pillows which are signature of Sheraton hotel brand, sunken outdoor bathtubs surrounded by lotus ponds, a rain shower in the garden and, not forgetting, and our own inviting pool.

Lovely relaxing corner viewing to the private pool and tropical garden

What a serene escape in a secluded natural surrounding. The service was impeccable and top-notch, we didn't feel like even leave the villa.

The room also has a spacious sofa with comfy cushions to sit and relax with the tranquil view of the pool and garden.

We slept like baby on the cloud nine on this bed, with silky smooth touch of the bed duvet and pillow covers. Hanging nets above the bed enhances the romantic atmosphere in the bedroom.

The walls are made of bare cement with use of techniques that make it look like the walls of the tropical house. It look simple but reflects the attention to details and meticulousness of the architectural design here.

On the other side of the bedroom is the bathroom and amazing outdoor rainforest shower. Bathroom area is separated into 4 parts: the main part is the basin area, indoor shower room, the toilet and most outstanding is the outdoor shower opening to the backyard with lush green tropical plants. I just loved to have my shower here, under the green shades of coconut trees.

I just loved to have my shower here, under the green shades of coconut trees.

Next we came to see the atmosphere outside of the villa. What a luxury to escape the hustles bustles in our daily life in Bangkok to this secluded sanctuary.
We woke up to the evergreen of villa push’s garden, charmed by full bloomed water lily every now & then, on the songs of birds chirping around in the background. Here we found ourselves in tranquil time & serenity to rejuvenate & nurture ourselves. Not surprise to return from the weekend feeling 20 years younger, calmer & happier...

The pool villas are huge, impressive and fulfilled with top-notch amenities. We stayed at one bed room pool villa, with private pool, pool cabana, and one king bed which is perfect for two. Spanning on 248-sqm area, with outdoor and indoor showers, outdoor jacuzzi bathtub, pool cabana (love it, perfect for an afternoon tea or in-villa spa treatment that I'm gonna tell you in my next stories), and yes, a gorgeous pool that is quite spacious for some serious paddling.

This is a truly serene sanctuary designed for guests who want to relax in a peaceful atmosphere. Each villa is surrounded by lush green vegetation bringing immersed feeling in the nature, a private pool for total privacy that nothing else can compare with. Imagine waking up to the evergreen of the garden, charmed by water lily in full-bloom and the only sounds are the songs of the birds chirping around.

The atmosphere in the evening is very romantic. The sunken bathtub in the villa, with bubbles, flowers and candles placed around, creating an intimate and romantic atmosphere. For couple, this is the perfect bonding moment as we bathed in the moonlight, watching the starry night.

I also took a look at the Pool Villa Suite, which has one additional living room in the same villa and a bigger pool. The main difference with the Pool Villa is a separate the living room zone, another big the sofa, additional work desks and bathroom. If you come as the family with children or a group of 4 guests, the living room is spacious enough to adjust to a second bedroom.

In addition to villa accommodation, other facilities here include a swimming pool with sea view. And the gym is open 24 hours a day. To access the facilities, staying guests need to use the room keycard.

The pool may not have many guests because every villa has a private pool. Therefore, most of the guests do not come to play in the central pool. Unless you want to change the atmosphere to lie in the sun and admire the view of Pranburi sea.
If you ask me if I will come back here? Definitely YES, and I will bring my friends and family for a truly luxuriously serene escape, where we can immerse ourselves in pure relaxation and tranquility on a tropical seafront.
